Re-entry after activition of GC

HI There

I have a question on re-enter to US after 1st activiation of the GC. My issue is I am going to US end of December 2010 for few days and actived the GC visa. After few days in US, we will leave US and only full move over to US on Aug. 2011. Reason is to wait till after my kids completed their school year. Would that being problem to re-enter to US after abaout 8-9 mths after 1st activation of the GC?
