    Taking break from work being in Greencard

    Questions related to taking break from work being in Green card, I really thankful to all the experts here in advance for answering me
    1. Is it legal to take a break(in between jobs) from work being in Green card ( have the physical green card in hand for almost 2 years and valid till 2030) ?
    2. Do one needs to inform USCIS for taking break ?

    Sure. Green card holders are not required to work. You do not need to inform anyone.
