GC printing and carrying it overseas

Hi

I have a 2 fold question. I paid Gc printing fees to uscis for my dad- the last step. My dad has not entered us on his 6 month immigrant visa . Question will I get his gc printed in us address before he enters state? If yes can I take his green card to him abroad as I was planning to visit . Will that be problem if he tries to enter with green card given his immigrant visa expired?

The reason for asking that I till be visiting him next month I couldn't find seat for him on my return flight and he has till August on his visa.

No. He is not a US permanent resident unless and until he enters the US with his immigrant visa.
