Current status: parents in US in immigrant visa, entered at the end of December 2024, waiting for physical green card to arrive in mail. One of the parents needs to travel for medical reason in February and potentially be there more than 6 months.
Questions:
1. Do I need to file I-131 with Reentry Permit option so that it won’t be problem later down the road either with green card extension?
2. Is Reentry the right option since they have not received their physical green card?
3. What will be the supporting document for Reentry application? US visa?
