I really need help
Hello. I'm trying to find out if I will be able to stay with my resident status. What happen is that I was arrested on 2001 for Prostitution (which I wasn't doing), last year on 2004 the charges were drop to Breach of Peace and I pay a fine, now my residency is going to expire on June 2006 and I'm not sure what to do. I'm scare that they will denied the renewal. I'm also thinking on becoming a citizen but I don't know if a can. I heard that I can do an expongament but that is only after 2 years in which it will already be Dec. 2006, by then my greencard will be expire already. I'm doing my bankrupcy now and I also don't know how that will affect me. On top of that I don't even know where to go because the lawyer that I hire had no idea about anything, I had to find out about when you can exponge on my own. I also had some people telling me that I really don't need to exponge because breach of peace is a misdemeanor but I'm so scare that I can't even sleep at night anymore. Everyone makes mistakes and even when I didn't do anything, now I have to see if this situation is fixable. Please help me!!

You are just a human beeing just like the rest of us.
You didn't murdered anybody. People have problems sometimes.
Financially or otherwise. YOu are not the only person with bankrp. going on or some charges. As long as you take care of the charges and you are not in conflict with the law all the time.
It is extremly important to disclose to them anything they ask for.
If you don't lie to them you may be OK. If you lie , they will deny you for lieing. IF you say the truth( they know it anyway) they are going to consider your application. Otherwise I think that it may get denied.
