I am a US born citizen. My wife, who is from Japan, and I were married in 2005and we applied for the I-130 from Japan and obtained a conditional permanent visa since we had been married less than 2 years. We did not file a I-751 because only a year into my job after marriage I was laid off and I found it very hard to find a job. I received a generous offer of employment back in Japan so without any other option I accepted the offer and have worked there since.
We now wish to return to the States with our 3 kids. Kids all have US passports. I know that the previous visa for my wife has been revoked by now. The USCIS website has the stats down as "Your Case Status: Post Decision Activity" for back in 2006 but nothing else is stated. But do I still need to file the I-130 or are there other options?
Thank you for any advice
