Hi everybody,
My conditional GC is based on marriage with US citizen. I have just sent petition to remove conditions of my green card, together with all "good faith"evidences and our joint income tax returns for past 2 years. Back in time,2 years ago,when we filled our I 485, my wife had a job and she was my sponsor.We didn't have to have any additional affidavit of support,since she was making enough money to support me as a petitioner her self.
Now the things have changed.She lost her job,and she is collecting unemployment compensation.I am still working though.My question is following:Will her inability to sponsor me this time,effect my ongoing removal of condition process?
And second question is: I sent my application via express mail 5 days ago.How long have you guys usually waited to hear from immigration?I don't have an attorney,so any experience shared is more than welcome.Thank you everybody and keep up with good job.
