Minor kids needs re entry permit

I have 2 minor boys and they have permanent resident, but we are station at bahrain for 3yrs, as dod civilian , im us citizen and thyre not , i dont know how to retain there greencard, if re entry , they dont need biometric ryt? What other option i can do , so they can stay with me overseas with out losing there grencard please help me

Even if biometrics are not required, you still need to apply for their reentry permit in the U.S.
