After getting green card approval, how soon we can switch job?

Hi,
After getting the green card approval, how soon we can switch job? If we switch too early (in a month or 2), will there be any problem while applying for US citizenship?

Two months is *way too soon*. I've read stories about people which presented their W2s from a *different company* than the one that originally sponsored them for LPR status, the same year they got such status, and while they didn't have huge problems they were indeed asked questions about it and had to demonstrate how long they stayed w/ the original employer before switching.

So - while nothing will happen in the *short term*, you may run into issues later when applying for citizenship - and if you DO get into issues, depending on the officer handling your case, they may not call fraud - but they will certainly put some roadblocks on your citizenship application.

Suck it up for 6+ months - shouldn't be THAT hard.
