Employer not able to provide US job after getting green card (CP),

I have a special case,
I'm currently in Indian branch of the company, I have already got my IV VISA-GreenCard (CP). The company is not able to provide a suitable position in the US. I have been waiting for 3 months now and my VISA expires in the next 3 months.

What options do I have
1. Can I just quit the job at the Indian branch and enter US and find another job.

You can't do that.

The immigrant visa that you have received is for the green card for the future job that you will do once you enter the U.S. on that.

If you are planning to work for someone else, that green card is not valid.

Another question, the current employer could send me to US branch for few months, then can I without quitting enter the US and then find another job after few months.

If your sponsor employer has no intention to keep you for an indefinite time, both of you are doing this in bad faith and that is a problem for your green card.
