I am an LPR since Jan 1999 and came to India in May 2002 with a valid re-entry permit till Jan 2004. But I am unable to travel back to US before then because of my high risk pregnancy. I have contacted the Chennai consulate regarding SB-1 visa, but they are not giving all the details of the procedure to get through the visa.
Has anybody got through this SB-1 procedures? What are the details of getting through this SB-1 visa? Does somebody need to sponsor and file for the affidavit of support? What are all the steps involved? Anymore guidance and pointers are appreciated.
