how to get a tax ID for visiting parent?

Hi,

Can I get a tax ID for my visiting parent? Then can I use this tax ID on my tax form say they are my dependent?

Any one did this or know any info. about this?

They can get a tax id from IRS (look at the IRS website).
But you can not claim your parents as dependents unless they are PRs or US citizens.

Are there any VISA for "baby sitting" job? I am thinking if I can sporsor my parent with this kind of VISA to come to USA and take care my baby. At the same time I can get tax deduction also.

There is no such visa.
And you should drop the tax deduction stuff. If there was such a visa, you would have to pay a normal salary, and you would have to pay taxes, instead of getting a tax deduction.

Au pair

Actually, there is such visa category. It is J-1 for au pairs (i.e. babysitting). Unfortunately, your parents do not qualify due to program's age restrictions (18 to 26 years old).

Au pair is not baby-sitting. The purpose of the au-pair program is to give young people some experience with US culture. That's why there is an age limitation.

" The Au Pair Program is an educational and cultural exchange program with a child care component. Au pairs come to the United States for one year to provide up to 45 hours of child care per week for their host family while pursuing educational credits."
Also, Au Pair programs are administered by specific organizations, meaning you can not yourself sponsor somebody.
