Reentry Permit--Please Help

We (me and my wife) are holding green card for the past one year and five months.
Now we want to go back to India to take care of some health issues of our aged mothers and also take care of family issues.
Please let me know whether the above reason would satisfy for a reentry permit or do I have to talk to an attorney to draft a reason.
