Reentry Permit Question

hi, i finished my biometrics last week. i would like to know if i can go outside the U.S while my reentry permit is still in process? and comeback in the U.S with the permit?

can someone tell me how the permit works? do they stamp it with a date when going outside the U.S or they just need to see it?

You're free to leave. In the application, did you request for it to be sent to a US mission, or to a US address? Either way, you have to go pick it up from the country where the mission is, come back and pick it up from the US address, or have someone send it to you abroad. There's no exit stamp needed.
