Any idea on getting back social security?

Hey guys,
Thinking of dumping my green card and taking off.
Do any of you know if its possible to get back my contribution to social security?

Doesn't make sense if I don't intend to retire here.

You can't get your Social Security payments back. Social Security doesn't work like a bank. Your payments are actually used to pay the benefits for current retirees.
Having said that, depending on where you are from, you may be able to have the time you paid into the US Social Security system taken into account for the calculation of retirement benefits in your home country. See www.ssa.gov/international...intro.html
If you qualify for US retirement benefits, you may also be able to receive them while abroad. See www.ssa.gov/international/your_ss.html
