Remittance limits

I wanted to know the maximum limit on money one can remit from USA to self NRE account in India. In my case i recently remitted $25K in 6 transactions through Quickremit and for a new transaction it says i have exceeded the limit for the quarter.
- Whats the government/RBI policy on amount of money and number of transactions for remitting money to self NRE account?
- Whats the limit on remitting money back to USA out of self NRE account?

There is no limit like that.

The limit you are referring is to is QuickRemit's internal limit.

If you want (and have), you can wire transfer even $10 million from your US account to NRE account. No problem.
