Quitting my job on a H1b visa - How long can I stay in the US?

I am planning on giving notice to my company and go back to India. Does anyone know how long I can stay in the US before I have to leave? Is there a grace period? Please let me know.

No grace period , one should not be without pay for any working day while in US on H1 status.
