Immigration check - wrong domestic address

Hi

I just came to india two days ago, and I realized I gave the wrong domestic address at the immigration counter. This is because my parents just moved house recently....I thought i had the right address...obviously not. Could you pls let me know what the best way to rectify this situation is? I'm thinking I could do it on the way out of the country....not sure if that's going to work or not. Pls advise.
