  • Can I sell my property in India now that I am a US citizen?

    Hi,

I would like to sell my property in India. I am a US Citizen now and applied for PIO card and waiting to receive the PIO card.

While I am waiting for a PIO card, can I still sell my property by giving a Power of Attorney to my family in India?

    I appreciate your inputs.

    Thanks,
    Mathi

Thanks a lot.. Do you know where can I get a Power of Attorney to sell a property and does it need to be notarized by Notary Public or Indian Embassy? Thanks Again.

          Hi

Yes it is possible; you just give power of attorney to your parents or your family members to sell the property.
