I have a Canada WP approval letter that says my WP will be activated on entry with a 'enter by' date. There is no stamp on the passport, so I can travel on existing business visa and I presume visa will be affixed on passport on arrival. I am currently in US on L1A and the Canada WP was intended as backup in case any extension gets denied due to any reason. My question is - can I travel to Canada just to get the WP activated while continuing to be employed in US on L1A?
