USA F 1 Visa interview...need help pls
UK Resident here..
US student visa appointment confirmed today but the earliest possible date I got will only leave exactly 2 weeks for the embassy to work with.The university requires me to attend orientation, but having a past OWI in the states during my undergrad, It's rumoured that this could take up to 45 days before the embassy can issue me a visa. (perhaps the Alcohol evaluation?) I am thinking about calling back next week to see if there is a possbible earlier date.
Summary: (UK based, did undergrad in USA, caught an OWI b4 i returned back 2 UK, now planning to return for my masters Aug 17th, was previously refused visa in last december under section 214B, upon calling to schedule this interview, i had to scan and email in my court records and background check)
This is a bit of a predicament and I welcome any advice or suggestions please.
