My ex partner has a UK conviction under the communications act for threatening text messages in a domestic dispute during our break up in 2014
He did not have a prison term and paid a fine.
We would like to take our children to Disney in 2020 and understand that he will need to go for an interview.
I'm worried that we have to book and pay for flights before we apply for the visa and I wanted to find out if anyone knows what the chances are that he will be approved. We don't want to risk spending the money on booking a holiday and then we can't go. If they judge it on a case by case basis then is it possible he will be approved or are they very strict and we shouldn't bother?
Thank you for your time.
Kind regards
