My J2 visa will be renewed in July 2014, right now my DS2019, I94 and visa expire in June 2014 but we are in the process of renewing the visa for another year. I want to apply for an EAD as soon as possible, can I do this before my visa is renewed? Will this mean I have to apply for the EAD and renew it straight away or what can I do? I plan to renew the J2 visa until July 2015. Any help is much appreciated!
