EAD (c08) renewal proccess
I have asylum pending and got my first EAD last year. Now it is expiring soon. I know I should apply 120 days in advance before it expires.
First time I applied online, it was free of charge. I did not pay anything and got approved hassle free.
Now when I want to apply again their e-file system shows I need to pay $380.
I just want to make sure, do we (asylum seekers) need to pay this fee for renewal?
I remember for the first EAD I was exempt but I don't know about renewal. If someone can help me and reference to any webpage or document regarding fees I really appreciate.
