EAD and driving in USA

Have received my EAD, got a Social Security number and just started work locally but need a driving licence. As I lost my UK driving licence in move to USA and currently reside in North Carolina, looking for advice on how to get driving licence.

Apply for a driver's license at your local DMV. Not sure what your question is.

You may be able to get a DL without the written and road tests if you can proof your drivers license history in the UK. That is where I would start. Also get your driving history for car insurance purposes.
