  • H4 EAD - Any other work visa ?

    Hi All,

I am I-140 approved (EB2 this April 2017) and my wife has a valid EAD till April 2020. As a backup plan (if H4 EAD is cancelled or fr any other reason) can i apply for any other visa (work) for my wife. She works as a Medical Coder ($ 47,000/annum) in a hospital, where they are ready to provide all the relevant supporting documents for her to stay here (but not in position to sponsor Visa) and advised to get assistance from an attorney. Since she is getting paid less i dont think she is eligible for H1B ? What are my other options (work permit) for here to work here in US ? I am also planing to talk to an attorney and seek his advise ?

    Note
She has been here in the US since 2011 in H4.

Thanks for taking time to read this and appreciate your help !!!

To apply for the H1-B, you need to be in certain professions, and hold at least a Bachelor's Degree.

I think you have other options and it wouldn't be a waste of money to discuss these with an immigration attorney. Use someone who is personally recommended. Don't Google to find one.
    Not legal advice.
