Hi guys,
I had my green card interview this morning and it went well - pending one small systems check, I was approved! So my green card will reach me in (apparently) 2-3 weeks.
In the mean time, I have my EAD/AP, and I am about to travel out the country. I assume I am able to come back in on the AP no problem? The only reason I ask is that in the letter I was given with my "approval" notice post-interview says that if I want to travel without the PRC I can "obtain temporary evidence of your lawful permanent residence by making an InfoPass appointment and appearing at a USCIS office". Since my interview & outbound travel dates are the same day, no can do. I assume this is only if you don't have an AP?
Just double checking to clarify!
