Hello,
I have a pending adjustment of status application (I485, through marriage) and submitted my advance parole application to the chicago office approx 1.5 wk ago (still waiting for receipt). I have not been fingerprinted or anything else yet. How long does it typically take before I get the AP document I can use for traveling? I tried to screen the forum and got the idea of about 8 wks (?before or after fingerprinting?) but it would be helpful to get that verified before booking flights to travel home over christmas. do most AP applications typically get approved or should I also worry about potential denial? i am from a northern european country if that at all matters.
