  • Interim EAD card?

HOW CAN I GET ANY SORT OF PROOF THAT I CAN WORK IN THIS COUNTRY WHILE I WAIT FOR MY EAD CARD AND INTERVIEW FOR MY GREENCARD?

Is there such a thing called INTERIM EAD CARD? If there is, may I know what is it? and how can I get it?

My attorney messed up my EAD card application and I-485. It's been close to a year since I apply for my EAD card. It was never approved because my attorney didn't furnish the additional evidence that INS requested for my I-485 application.

I finally straightened out my I-485 application by mailing in all evidences. And we are scheduled for our first interview on Sept 15th...But my husband cannot make it that day. So we are back into the system again...

I really need to work. Is there anyway I can apply for an Interim EAD while I wait for the new interview date for my greencard? (I assume that getting an Interim EAD card is faster than getting the real EAD card) What is the procedure?

    thanks...

      interim EAD card

when you say 90 days after I apply for the EAD card, do you mean I have to wait 90 days after I do the biometric?

I submitted my EAD card application the I-765 last year - Oct 2005? Isn't that considered as application?

      thank you..

        No, after you apply

        thank you..
Even though you submitted AN EAD application last year, because youe I-485 was denied, that negated the EAD application and that particular application is no longer pending. You would ahve to reapply
