EAD usage and spouse status

Seniors please help

Mine and my spouse I485 is in pending stage. Currently i am working on H1 and my spouse is on H4 status.I have EAD and my spouse doesnt have EAD.If I switch to working on EAD then what will be the status of my spouse.Do I need to file EAD for my spouse also?

EAD does not provide a status. If you work on EAD, your spouse becomes a parolee due to pending I485. She needs EAD only to work and AP to travel after you switch to parolee status by working on EAD.

Not at all. AP is if you switch to work on EAD and want to travel for both of you.
