Hi,
I'm currently on an H1B sponsored Visa and my wife and daugther is on H4(dependent visa thru my company ). I have an approved Labor and I-140 and my I-485 is in process for almost 2 years now. Also we have completed fingerprinting. I want to apply for EAD but my company lawyer told me that even it will be approve I cannot use it to work for another company as my dependents (H4) will become out of status as they are link to my H1B. Is this true? Also, If I get my EAD and leave my current employer and work to other company using my EAD, can my current company reboke my GC processing?
