I'm an asylee for 1 year and in July, I applied for a refugee travel document (I-131). I gave fingerprints in August, however there is no update on the case status page. The only thing showing up is "Fingerprint Fee Received on July" (when they received the application). A few weeks ago I just wanted to see how my asylum application timeline looked like on the case status screen, but after I typed the receipt number, I saw that it shows as an Employment Authorization Document application, which makes sense since all asylees get new EADs after being granted. It shows that the new EAD was mailed to me (which is correct). However the thing which confused me is an update on August, which is months after the EAD case is closed and only 2 weeks after I gave fingerprints for my refugee travel document, which says: "Fingerprint review completed... for your I-765 application... Nebraska Service Center is working on your case..."
