    EAD approval time for Marriage based GC AOS

    My PD is 12/24/2020.
    Biometrics date 07/22/2021
    Newark Field office

    Currently on H1 visa with expiry date 09/10/2021.

    Any idea how much time does it take for EAD (i765) approval after biometrics?

    I want to make a decision of whether to wait for H1 extension filing till end of August or apply for it right away if 765 approval takes too long after biometrics.

    Please advise.

    Hi,
    As per my knowledge, minimum it will take 3 to 5 months.. You will need to plan accordingly.

      Sometimes it takes a long time, even renewals. I don't think you will get the EAD by the end of August, hope I'm wrong.
