Is my EAD card still valid if I travel back to my home country and return to USA

Hi, I want to know that under my L2+EADcard status, can I hold my EAD card valid even after traveling back to my home country and returning to US? Or, what do I need to do to hold my EAD card valid while avoiding re-apply a new EAD card upon my return to US from a trip to my home country? The reason I ask is that on my EAD card, there’s a notion “ NOT VALID FOR REENTRY TO U.S.”.

Below is some information relate to my status:
I currently hold L2 visa that is valid until April. 2012. My husband (L1 visa holder) has valid visa until March. 2013.
I am currently a MBA student that has received general assistant scholarship that requires me to work for the university in order to get my scholarship. For that reason, I have an EAD card that is valid until Jun. 23rd. 2012; however, on my EAD card, there’s a notion “NOT VALID FOR REENTRY TO U.S.”
My MBA program require me to conduct an internship during May. 2011- Aug. 2011; however, there’s a possibility that my internship will occur in my home country and I need to go back to my home country for that three months.

Therefore, upon my return to US after summer internship, do I fall into the category status as “REENTRY TO US”? If I do, would my EAD card be invalid upon my departure to home country for summer internship? Do I need to re-apply for EAD card if I return to US after summer internship and still need to keep my General Assistant Job with the University? Is there a procedure I can follow to get a permission to travel outside US and remain my EAD card valid? Whom should I contact if I want to get the specific information ?

You enter the U.S. on L2 and NOT on EAD. It does not say 'Not valid after reentry into the US'.

Therefore, your EAD will remain valid even if you go out of the US and come back.
