  • Green Card on L1 A (6+ Years on L1A)

    Hi

If we are in US for more than 6 years and the company decides to process GC - will there be any issues ?

Initial visa in US was L1B and later converted to L1A after 2.5 years. Do we have to be a manager for 1 year in the past 3 years (outside the country) ? Is that a mandatory req ?

    Eb1-3

To fall in EB-1(3) you have to be a manager or executive in a multinational holding at least 1 office in the US. But you can apply your GC in other categories.

To answer you specific question -

Though you have an L1(A), you do not meet a couple of mandatory requirements to qualify for EB1.

But you have a fair change to apply your GC in EB2 or EB3 based on your case. Your company can file it.
