  • L1A to GC, lawyer said 50/50% why?

Hi all, I'm working for more than a year here in US with the L1A visa for a company in US (4 employees in US and +50 in Brazil) .

I'm in the company for more than 7 years, and they will apply for a Gc for me.

I start to talk with the same Lawyer that have done my L1A, and he told that because of the numbers of employee the company have hired in the last year here in US (which was just 1) it has a huge chance that my GC could not be granted.

We have a forecast to hire more 2 persons this year, but is this really matters?

and if my GC is denied, do I lot the L1 visa too?

I've a Director position here and manage all the IT suppliers and marketing here, we have double the revenue in US in 2013 from 25M to 53M... so my question basically is the numbers of employees below me in US really matters for the GC ?

    Thanks
