  • Switching company with approved I-140 from previous employer

Currently work for company A under H1B with EB3 approved I 140 stage . I got a job offer from Company B , who is ready to process my GC . I am maxed out on H1B (L1 and H1 combined) with current company and am extending current H1B with approved I-140 only . When Company B applied for H1B they got only 1 year approval not three . Thinking this is not enough time for company B to apply for my GC labor and have it pending for a year (if its still in RFE) so H1B can be extended ...Any thoughts are deeply appreciated ...I am worried if I jump ship now and Company A revoked I 140 then I need a Labor with company B pending for at least 1 year so H1B can be extended when the 1 year window comes up ...Would have loved to have 3 year H1B with company B , but now am reluctant. Any one has any suggestions or aware of any loopholes or pitfalls ?
