Here is my situation, Can you please let me know, if anybody have any information or idea? That would be very helpful.
My Situation #
I am currently on H1B visa. I already completed my 6 years of H1 Quota. My Labor (EAD Priority date # Aug 15th 2010) and I140 got approved.
But due to some circumstances, I have to change my status from H1 Visa to H4 visa for a few months. Right now, My priority dates are current and would like to apply for I 485 in October.
If I applied for I 485 when I am on H4 visa, Will it create any issues for my application and processing of I 485? First of all, Do I even eligible to apply for I 485, when I am on H4 visa?
After my 6 years completion of H1B in U.S., is it possible to reinstate my H1 from h4 with out any issues?
Any help\information would be very much appreciated.
