I'm in the US, working for a large consulting firm (10,000++ Employees). I'm a manager and I supervise a mid-sized advanced analytics team, and in addition I have a sales role as a SME (Subject Matter Expert). I've been a manager for a little over a year. I'm on year 1 of an H1-B, I used to work for them on a F1 OPT/STEM OPT extension (I have a US PhD).
I'm considering applying for a GC. Am I eligible for an EB1-MM (also referred to as EB1-C)? I'm not sure I understand the requirements. I've worked for my employer for 2 years, I've been a manager for 1 year. But I have never worked overseas for this firm. I've only ever worked for them on US soil.
Does this make me ineligible for EB1-MM? What are my alternate options? The incredibly long slog EB2 (I'm Indian)?? The unimaginably long slog EB3???
I'd be grateful for opinions/advice.
