TAX return filing impact on GC processing
Hello Team,
Myself and my husband are both on L1A VISA working in USA. I would like to understand if joint tax filing will have any disadvantages in future if my employer initiates my Greencard processing. We found that joint tax filing has better benefits and proposed tax filing has my husband as the TAX payer and my name as spouse in IRS e file form. Will this have any issues if I initiate my gc process later this year?
We both are working for different employers currently.
