Travel to India immediately after filing I-485??

Hi,
My Husband is in H1 and me in H4. We just got the second stage of GC cleared. We are about to file I-485. And also our H1 is getting expired by oct 1, 2007.In the mean time I (h4 holder) have to go to India for 1 month urgently. But I'll be back by Aug,2007 before our H1 visa date expires. My husband, the H1 holder is not travelling with me. Will my travel out of the country in this situation create any problem to the filed I-485? And also will it create any problem reg the visa expiration too? If so what could be done?

Its advisable to first apply for H1 extension (3 years) before you fall into the trap (I-485, I-765, I-131, I-693...). Making all priority dates current and doubling green card fees simultaneously is a scam.

check out other forms that can be file along with 485. one of it is I131 application to travel document which you can travel outside USA while your 485 is pending.
