Still No Receipt Notice

Hi everybody,

My applications for I-485, Employment Authorization and Travel Document have been received by USCIS on June 27 but I haven't received the receipt notices yet. Do you think I am affected by the updated July Visa Bulletin even though my lawyer sent the applications when visa numbers were current?

Is there anyone in the same situation with me? Or anyone sent application on the same day and got receipt notice.

Hi there,

I am in the same boat too. I sent in my AOS application to Pittsburgh field office(7/27/07) not knowing they no longer accept AOS applications. So, My application came back to me the next day. I went down to the Pittsbugh office with my application (on Aug 7th)and asked them to redirect it to the right address( chicago) and they did that for us.

I dont know what happend next. If they sent it out on Aug 7th like they said, I'm guessing my application would have reached chicago on the Aug 9th. So, Its been over a month now and still havent received any reciepts of my AOS application. And my cheques haven't been cashed.
