  • Green card

    Hi,

I am Krish. I have h1b visa and I am in US for 6 months. I am planning to apply green card through my current employer. I was a .net developer and i used my .net expereince for h1b. After I come to US I changed my line and now I am working in ERP technology. Is it ok if i show my erp experience and apply for green card. Will they refer my h1b resume and application during greencard process. If it is not possible please let me know how to proceed.

Your reply would be highly appreciated.

    Thanks
    Krish

    Possible with difficulty

Since you have very little experience in the other field, your GC's initial application may be rejected on the basis that there are a lot more people with far better experience available in the country for the said field.

You need to get a good attorney who can make sure your Part B & B do not mis-match and at the same time, you yourself do not dis-qualify for the open position with your employer for GC.

Tread carefully, it's a delicate balance.

    Good luck.
