same employer but different job

My 485 has been filed with the INS. I-140 has been approved. I guess i am in the queue of all poeple who filed in the July 2007 mayhem period.

I have an opportunity to work in a different role with the same employer. Can i do so and will it have any impact on my application..

It's okay.

Roles change constantly in the same company. This is not uncommon. You're good as long as your salary slips come from the same employer. Make sure you keep documents/e-mails from your boss stating your new role and the switch over. Will be handy later on in life.
