Hi,

I have an interview scheduled for the green card.But i do not intend to work for the company which sponsored me.I am planning not to attend the interview, Me and my spouse are still maintaining the valid non immigrant status.....so my doubt is ....if we do not attend the interview will there be a problem????And in any case if we apply for the immigration petition next time through my spouse will there be any problem???

Are you sure you don't want to attend the interview and see if they give you the GC?

You may want to still consult an attorney.

Of course, if you're planning to stay in this country, then you need to notify USCIS accordingly so that they don't assume you've abandoned your application which will be a serious issue next time.
