Changed status from H1 to H4 after 485 application

Hello Gurus,

Please suggest do i need to file any other application to inform INS as i have filed for H4 after i have send my 485 application, Here is my scenario.

I was working on H1 since 3 years, i have filled 485 with my wife she is the primary applicant in July, i lost my job after i filed and my employer will be revoking my H1 from Sep, so to be on safe side i filed for H4 to be in status until i get EAD, my question is do i need to inform INS about my change of status as my 485 says i am on h1 but presently i filed for H4.

That's fine

That's fine. Don't worry about it. Both are different classes. One is temporary stay while the other is for permanent.

You shouldn't have any problems.
