Hi all ,
Me and my wife received our EAD's , after we filed our I485 on July'07. Haven't received I140 yet, though it was filed on Oct' 06. In the mean time, my H1 (and my wife's H4) expires on March 2008, and I understand we can apply for H1/H4extension as early as 6 months. Please help me clarrify on the below.
1. Can my wife start working now on her EAD, while I continue to hold my H1 status? How do we travel in that scenario, she in AP and me in H1?
2. What does it take, if she had to get back to her H4 status if required (eg. some issues with GC processing etc) ?
3. Does she using her EAD, has any impact/concerns during our H1/H4 extension ? If so, Is filing for H1/H4 extension first, and she using EAD after that, a better option?
