EB GC and Full Time student?

Hey experts,
I'm in a perplexing situation. I got my Employment based GC a year ago, and recently decided to make a "career shift" nothing related to my present job. For that I've decided to quit my job and go back to school - back to the basics and get a new degree.

The issue - I need to go back to school as a FT student. I know I can't go back on F1, and from what I've read online, I'll be committing an "Immigration fraud", if I use my GC status. Along that lines, I should mention that I did not have an "intent to quit" my job when I applied/obtained the GC. Circumstances changed, and so did my career objectives.

Its hard for me to believe that there is no way out of the situation.
Any ideas?

if you have been there a year that is enough you will have no issues. GC will give you funding opportunities as well as in-state fee.
Dont worry about the fallout.
