GC Application based on Spouse EAD

Hi Guys/Gals,
Here is our situation.
I was out of country when my wife (who is on H1) applied for GC and last week got her EAD card. I came back to US few months back and I would like to apply for my GC.
1. Can I apply for my GC rightaway and be eligible for EAD based on my wife's EAD approval?
2. If Not when can I apply for my GC ?

Any inputs would be appreciated !!

did you submit i485 for you along with her? if so you can apply for EAD any time. If NO you need to wait until her priority date becomes current.
