I am in a weird situation now. My current employer wants to start GC processing after the H1 rush on Apr 1. My 6 years of H1 ends in Sep 2010 and my wife's L1 started in Jan 2008. My wife is reluctant to do GC because a huge chunk of the benefits will be cutoff once her employer knows that she is processing permanent residency.
* I can always add her to my GC after the LCA & I140 right? what is the total timeframe for LCA + I140 stage?
* At what stage, can I renew my visa for another 3 years?
* Lets say I add her to GC, what are the chances that her employer will come to know of her processing?
